An easy drinking, fruit driven sparkling made from Sauvignon Blanc. Refreshingly different to the traditional Australian Sparkling in that it doesn't have a bone dry finish.
This wine is named after the founder of Cherry Tree Hill Wines, Gabriel Michael Lorentz.
A sparkling wine, made using the traditional methods made famous in Champagne. Gabriel is a blend of our Estate grown Pinot Noir (45%), Chardonnay (45%), and Pinot Meunier (10%) and has been left on lees for 18 months.
This elegant and complex wine was part barrel fermented in oak. The grapes were picked in two stages – the first harvest exudes refined citrus characters and the second displays intense passionfruit. The lingering acidity and elegant oak characteristics hold a fine balanced palate structure.
BRONZE MEDAL - Canberra International Riesling Challenge 2018
2018 is the first Vintage of Cherry Tree Hill Off Dry Riesling. This sweeter style was achieved by stopping the fermentation process early, leaving a higher risidual sugar level.
Riesling is susceptible to changes in climate more than any other varietal and with 2018 being a standout year in the Southern Highlands this wine is unlike any other we have produced. It has great minerality similar to previous vintages, but exudes more fruit delicately balanced with great natural acidity. A pleasant surprise packet!!
The 2008 CTH Riesling has matured into a fine example of a cool climate Riesling. It has a deep golden hue and a complex, almost creamy palate of toasty lemon butter. A distinctive and elegant cool- climate Riesling.
This wine displays all the characteristics of a premium aged Riesling, with a deep golden hue and a complex, almost creamy palate of toasty lemon butter, yet still displaying those same citrus and floral notes of its younger years. There is a level of acidity typical of its varietal concealed subtlety by the fruit sweetness and overall perfect balance. This wine shows exceptional quality
A fruit driven style Chardonnay from our fantastic 2015 vintage. This Chardonnay spends only a short amount of time in a selection of fine oak, allowing the quality fruit to dominate this wine.
Delicious strawberry and cherry flavours are complimented by a refreshing fine acid on the palate with lingering juiciness. This dry Provence Style Rose is made from Merlot and Cabernet grapes.
